What We Believe
We believe that God is love.
We believe that in His love, God is heartbroken by sin and death and acts in history to save His creation. We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to join humanity and show us the will of God. Jesus lived a life of selflessness and holiness that culminated in His death and resurrection. Thanks to His sacrifice, humanity has victory over sin and death through Christ.
We believe that God sends the Holy Spirit to empower believers to testify to God’s love in every aspect of their lives.
We believe that Jesus promised to come again and make a new heaven and a new earth. As we eagerly await His soon return, we commit to spread the good news of God’s love to the world.
A Worldwide Church Family
We are a part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church which has approximately 22 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Adventist Church operates 173 hospitals and clinics and more than 7,500 schools around the world. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) works within communities in more than 130 countries to provide community development and disaster relief. Together, we work to meet humanity's needs and spread the gospel to all the world.
